1.0 [ Introduction ]

Welcome to the Karamja Achievement Diary Task Guide. Karamja is the first place to have tasks. There are Easy, Medium, and Hard tasks, the Easy begin with Pirate Jackie the Fruit, the Medium with Kaleb, and the Hard with any of the Jungle Foresters.

There are a total of 39 Tasks, 10 Easy, 19 Medium, and 10 Hard. Each of the rewards rely on you having gotten the rewards for the previous tasks (to get the Medium, you must have completed Easy).

2.0 [ Easy Tasks ]

To begin the Easy Tasks, just speak to Pirate Jackie the Fruit. She is located in the Brimhaven Agility Arena entrance.The easy tasks are just that, easy, to complete all the easy tasks, you will need the following skills (no quests are needed):

1.1) Pick 5 bananas from the plantation located east of the volcano	None	None
	Head East from Pirate Jackie, over to the Banana plantation (pictured to the left), and pick a tree with a bunch of Bananas on it, pick five, and your done with this task.
1.2) Use the rope swing to travel to the small island north-west of Karamja, where the Moss Giants are	None	None
	Go West from Pirate Jackie, till you come to the edge of the island, swing on the rope to get across, then quick, swing back, before the Moss Giants attack you.
1.3) Mine some gold from the rocks on the north-west peninsular of Karamja	40 Mining	Pickaxe
	Head West from Pirate Jackie, then North, out onto the peninsular, until you come to a bunch of Gold rocks in a "C" shape, just pine one of them.
1.4) Travel to Port Sarim via the dock, east of Musa Point	None	60 Gold Pieces, or Ring of Charos (a)
	Head East from Jackie, until you come to the docks, pay for passage to Port Sarim, then come back.
1.5) Travel to Ardougne via the port near Brimhaven	None	60 Gold Pieces, or Ring of Charos (a)
	Head North-East from Jackie, until you come to the docks, pay for passage to Ardougne, then come back.
1.6) Explore Cairn Island to the west of Karamja	15 Agility	Food
	Head all the way down Karamja until you are just West of Shilo Village, climb the rocks, and cross the bridge (there is a chance you can fail both, causing damage to yourself).
1.7) Use the Fishing spots north of the banana plantation	None	Small Net, Big Net, Harpoon, or Lobster Cage
	Head East of Pirate Jackie, until you come to the Banana plantation, then just go North through it, and cast out your net, or whatever Fishing tool you brought, and you are finished!
1.8) Collect 5 seaweed from anywhere on Karamja	None	None
	Collect Seaweed from along the coast, you can just pick one up, drop, and repeat, you don't have to hold all five.
1.9) Attempt the TzHaar Fight Pits or Fight Cave	None	None
	Head down to the Tzhaar city, and just attempt either the Fight Caves, or Fight Pits.
1.10) Kill a Jogre in the Pothole dungeon	Combat Ability	Armour, food and possibly food
	Head to the Pothole Dungeon, it is North of Tai Bwo Wannai, go down into the dungeon, and kill a Level 53 Jogre.

Rewards:

	Karamja Gloves 1: Shops all around Karamja (including traders in the TzHaar city) offer better buy/sell prices (8% or 9% I need more information on this). Half-price boat trips to and from Brimhaven and Musa Point docks.

To begin the Medium Tasks, just speak to Kaleb Paramay. He is located in Shilo Village, up the ladder of the Inn. The medium tasks are little bit more challenging, and require a few more things, as well as more quests done (or started). There are also more medium tasks then Hard or Easy, be prepared, it will take you a while to complete them:

2.1) Claim a ticket from the Agility Arena in Brimhaven	40 Agility	None
	Head down into the Agility Arena, and get one ticket, you will have to tag a pillar, then tag another to get a ticket, see our guide to the Arena here .
2.2) Discover hidden wall in the dungeon below the volcano	Dragon Slayer Completed	Possibly Food
	Head down into the Volcano, and head North, then East through the hidden wall.
2.3) Visit the Isle of Crandor via the dungeon below the volcano	Dragon Slayer Completed	Possibly Food
	Head down into the Volcano, and head North, then East through the hidden wall, then go all the way through to the rope, and climb up onto Crandor.
2.4) Use Vigroy and Hajedy's cart service	Shilo Village Completed	Money, 100 or less Gold Pieces
	Take the Cart Service to or from Shilo Village.
2.5) Earn 100% favour in the village of Tai Bwo Wannai	Jungle Potion Completed and Level 10 Woodcutting	Machete, food, anti-posion
	Do the Tai Bwo Wannai Clean-Up Mini-game until you have 100% Favour.
2.6) Cook a Spider on a Stick	Level 16 Cooking	Spider, and a stick
	Play the Tai Bwo Wannai Clean-Up, and when you get a Spider, kill it, then use a knife on a stick, then use it on the Spider Carcass, then use the Raw Spider on a Stick with a fire or range to cook it.
2.7) Charter the Lady of the Waves from Cairn Isle to Port Khazard	Shilo Village Completed	1000 Gold Pieces
	Buy a ticket from whathisname in Shilo Village, then go the boat that is docked outside of Shilo Village to the West.
2.8) Cut a log from a Teak tree	Jungle Potion Completed and Level 35 Woodcutting	Woodcutting Axe
	Get 200 Trading Sticks from the Tai Bwo Wannai Mini-game, and pay to go into the Woodcutting Area, then cut a log from a Teak Tree.
2.9) Cut a log from a Mahogany tree	Jungle Potion Completed and Level 50 Woodcutting	Woodcutting Axe
	Get 200 Trading Sticks from the Tai Bwo Wannai Mini-game, and pay to go into the Woodcutting Area, then cut a log from a Mahogany Tree.
2.10) Catch a Karambwan	Tai Bwo Wannai Trio, and Level 65 Fishing	None
	Place a karambwanji in the Karambwan vessel and fish at the fishing spot marked in the location map.
2.11) Exchange Gems for a Machete	Jungle Potion Completed	Gout Tuber, three semi-precious gems
	Obtain a Gout Tuber either by buying one or from the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup Minigame, plus three gems of either, opal, jade or red topaz along with a number of trading sticks.
2.12) Use the Gnome Glider to travel to Karamja	The Grand Tree Completed	None
	Go to the Gnome Tree Stronghold, and take a Glider trip to Karamja.
2.13) Grow a healthy fruit tree in the patch near Brimhaven	Level 27 Farming	Fruit Tree Seed, Plant Pot, Gardening Supplies.
	Put a Fruit Tree seed into a Plant Pot filled with dirt, water it, and once it is a sapling, plant it in the Fruit Tree patch, wait for it to grow, and then check it's health.
2.14) Trap a Horned Graahk	Level 41 Hunter	Teasing Stick, Logs
	Head over to the Hunter location, and trap a Horned Graahk.
2.15) Chop the vines to gain deeper access to Brimhaven Dungeon	Level 10 Woodcutting	Woodcutting Axe, 786 Gold Pieces, and Food
	Head down into the Brimhaven Dungeon, you will need to pay to get in, head down the path until you come to some vines, chop them.
2.16) Cross the lava using the stepping stones within Brimhaven Dungeon	Level 12 Agility	786 Gold Pieces, Food
	Head down into the Brimhaven Dungeon, you will need to pay to get in, head down the path until you come to stepping stones, cross.
2.17) Climb the stairs within Brimhaven Dungeon	None	786 Gold Pieces, Food
	Head down into the Brimhaven Dungeon, you will need to pay to get in, head down the path until you come some stairs, go up them
2.18) Charter a ship from the Shipyard in the far east of Karamja	The Grand Tree Completed	About 3000 Gold Pieces
	Head to the dock on the East side of Karamja, and pay to go anywhere.
2.19) Mine a Red Topaz from a gem rock	Shilo Village and Jungle Potion Completed	Pick Axe
	You can either mine the Gem at the Shilo Village Gem Mines, or, while doing the Tai Bwo Wannai Clean-Up, you might get a random event there.

Rewards:

	Karamja Gloves 2 (Upgraded from 1): Increased Agility experience from the Brimhaven Agility Arena.

To begin the Hard Tasks, just speak to any of the Jungle Foresters. They are all along the edge of the Kharazi Jungle. The Hard tasks are the most challenging of all, and require you to become the Champion of the Fight Pits, as well as being at least 100 Combat, to be able to get a Slayer task from Duradel:

Task	Requirements	Items Needed
3.1) Become the Champion of the Fight Pits	High combat level	Weapons, Armour, Food
	Become the Champion of the Tzhaar Fight Pits by killing everyone else. One easy way to do this, is to get a bunch of friends together, go to a low populated world, and kill everyone else, then each of your friends will die, leaving you the winner.
3.2) Successfully kill a Ket-Zek in the Fight Caves	High combat level	Weapons, Armour, Food
	Enter the Tzhaar city, underneath Karmaja Volcano. Enter the fight caves and work your way thourh. The Ket-Zek is one of the last monsters so be prepared for a long set of battles.
3.3) Eat an Oomlie Wrap	Legend's Quest	Oomlie Wrap
	Kill an Oomlie bird in the Kharazi Jungle, then wrap it in a palm leaf and cook.
3.4) Craft some nature runes	44 Runecrafting	Pure Rune Essence
	Do exactly as it says. A bit to easy to guide you through this...
3.5) Cook a Karambwan thoroughly	Tai Bwo Wannai Trio, and Level 30 Cooking	None
	If you've completed the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest, speak to Tiadeche and he'll tell you how to cook a Karambwan if you haven't done so yet. Now use a Raw Karambwan on a range and choose to cook it for a long time.
3.6) Kill a Deathwing in the dungeon under the Kharazi Jungle	Legend's Quest, Level 15 Woodcutting, Level 50 Agility, Level 50 Strength, Level 50 Thieving, and Level 52 Mining	None
	Enter the Kharazi Jungle Caves, take a pickaxe and several lockpicks. kill a deathwing in the first chamber after the corridor with boulders.
3.7) Use the crossbow shortcut south of the volcano	Level 53 Agility, Level 42 Ranged, Level 21 Strength	Mithril Crossbow or better
	Use a mithril grapple with the tree marked to the left, anf then use the grapple with the second.
3.8) Collect 5 palm leaves	Legend's Quest, and Level 15 Woodcutting	None
	Shake leafy trees in the Kharazi Jungle to collect.
3.9) Be assigned a Slayer task by Duradel in Shilo Village	Shilo Village, Level 100 Combat, and Level 50 Slayer	None
	G to Shilo Village and talk to Duradel, and ask for a slayer assignment.
3.10) Kill a metal dragon in Brimhaven Dungeon	Level 12 Agility, Level 34 Woodcutting, 875gp	None
	Head into Brimhaven Dungeon, chop the vines, follow the path the the north west, continue down this path jump the lava, until you reach a room with fire giants inside, take the south east path, chop the vines, and then again take the south path. Kill a metal dragon.

Rewards:
	10k Experience Lamp
	Karamja Gloves 3 (Upgraded from 2): Access to a gem mine beneath Shilo Village. 'Operate' (or 'Activate') the gloves to teleport to the new gem mine.

While the specials that come with the gloves are pretty sweet, the gloves bonuses themselves aren't very good at all.
